 The due date for our baby is near the 29th of February on a leap year. What an opportunity! My wife thinks it would be terrible, but think it might be the best gift we could give our child. Think of the benefits:
- Our child will only age at a quarter of of the speed of the rest of us. While their peers are worried about turning 40, our child will be looking forward to "double digits".
- Only have to buy birthday presents every four years. Because I am not mean, each four years I will buy a present that is four times larger than a regular present, but I will still be ahead of the game because four years is enough for the money I save to compound interest.
- I will be the only 80 year old father of a 16 year old.
- My child will be a genius, graduating from university at the age of 6.
- If it is a girl, then for me as a Dad, it is great to think that she can't date anyone until she is 16.
Hey! I said no boys until you are 16 - now put your teeth back in and get in the car!
